Chance to Change

0
Hello. It's raining here. I have a bad news today. (Sigh). I ranked 22nd in our class. It made me feel a little bit disappointed and it made me realize how things change. I just knew better how hard life is. I'm not blaming anyone for what happened to me. I know what my weaknesses and limitations are. It just so happened that I became so weak that I am tempted by someone or something. At least now I know what happens every time I made wrong decisions in life. I know I can't go back in time and change every bad things that happened to me. But I believe that I can still change what will happen in the future. I still have a chance to change. And I should accept my mistakes and learn from them. I can't waste the chance. Whew. Too much drama. There's more to life than any bitterness and lies :)

Anyway, I just want to share you that I had taken the entrance exam in one of the most prestigious schools in our country, Ateneo de Manila University. It's quite easier compare to the exam in University of the Philippines. It was really a great experience to have an exam in that school :) I mean, every Filipino student is dreaming to step in a grass of Ateneo. Many famous actors and actresses have graduated in that school. Well, I wish I could study there.

Before I end this post, I want to share updates regarding Facebook Games that I play. Lol. So, here they are:

CICM Search-in

0
Last Thursday, CICM Missionaries came to our school for a search-in. Our class had a simple vocational talk then the missionaries encouraged all boys in our class to join the seminary. They gave us form to fill up asking if we're interested. Only four are brave enough to join. And I'm one of them. They gave us a brochure. This post's purpose is for all people around the world to know what CICM is :)

What is CICM?
In english, it stands for the CONGREGATION OF THE IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY (CICM). It is an international religious missionary congregation dedicated to the Incarnate Word.

Their Mission
In frontier situations, the CICM missionaries serve the local churches through Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation, Interreligious Dialogue, Education and Formation of the Youth, Indigenous People work and other ways of witnessing to the Good News of the Kingdom in the world today.

Who are the CICMs?
The members of the CICM missionaries are priests and brothers of different nationalities. As religious missionaries, they consider it their charism and vocation to live with a multicultural identity.

Our Presence
CICM missionaries are now stationed in Hongkong, Japan, Taiwan, Mongolia, the Philippines, Indonesia, East Timor, D.R. Congo, Cameroon, Senegal, Dominican Republic, Zambia, South Africa, Guatemala, Haiti, Brazil, Belgium, Netherlands, USA, France, Mexico, Rome & Italy.

The Beginning
In 1862, a group of Belgian diocesan priests led by Theopile Verbist wanted to help the orphans in China. The Founding Fathers never imagined that many would follow their footsteps not withstanding the cost of traveling by sea and in the hinterlands of China in the second half of eighteen hundreds. A congregation was born not knowing exactly what lies ahead. Their only assurance was their missionary zeal and God's providence.

That's all for now. I shall post something about the happenings during our retreat some other day. Thank you for reading.
